The TCAS 2000 is a second generation TCAS/ACAS based upon the state-of-the art design technologies and practices of ACSS. It allows for software updates on the aircraft via a front connector and is available with the latest FAA Change 7.1 software, which also meets European ACAS II requirements. TCAS 2000 tracks Mode S aircraft targets out to 100 nm and incorporates both 28VDC and 115AC power supplies in both four and six MCU versions. The 6 MCU replaces the older TCAS II computer.
