The AERO 452 is the first TSO certified carbon monoxide detector for use in general aviation and it is approved by the FAA for installation in certified aircraft.
It is designed to detect, measure, and provide a visual alert to the crew if carbon monoxide (CO) is detected in the cockpit.
The 452 has a built-in pressure compensation sensor to detect cabin altitude changes. The unit will send a signal to a remote light (if installed) when cabin altitude goes above 10,000, 12,500, and 14,000 feet.
Package includes: 452 and the necessary FAA approved paperwork which will authorize the installation on a certified aircraft.
Some FAA FSDOs have allowed the installation as a logbook entry. If needed, we can supply a 337 STC installed on a Cessna 172. See the download section for details.
