Based on equality and common development, Hafei Aviation Industry and Eurocopter signed a contract about developing  the six-ton Z15 helicopter which is witnessed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin in December 5th 2005. In 2012, the helicopters were deliveried to the users.
